Adventure at Charleston Town Landing

The museum hired shipwright Kevin Hebert (ee-bear) to build the Adventure. The completion of this boat was abandon and they contracted out the completed version. The framework is now a museum exhibit. The photos were taken during 2006.

Shipwrights of the Lowcountry: Mark Bayne of Sea Island Boatworks. He is the contractor for the Adventure and Sprit of South Carolina; Bob Webb, author of this website; Kevin Hebert (ee-bear) of Charles Towne Landing. He is the shipwright of the Adventure; Captain Bob Marthai, builder and owner of two 140-foot four-masted schooners.
