Overview

Maritime programs teach teamwork and the art of sharing knowledge. The experience offers opportunity for self-discovery.

The self-discovery program would center around a 19th century seaport with associated maritime activities. This was the age of mechanical inventions that includes steam and electrical power. This was also the age of self-educated achievers.
Students would duplicate discovers and inventions, while learning the history behind them. Hands-on activities is inspiring. These projects would introduce young people to various professions, for the purpose of helping them discover what their true talent and interest are. Once discovered, they would complete their education as a credited school.

Students will learn how-to-learn, the art of self-education. This is achieved through the desire to be an achiever, which is a self-motivating power. This desire inspires a love-to-learn that continues for a lifetime.

The program would be in a non competitive learning environments.

The maritime environment would have a positive affect on visitors. Word-of-mouth would spread the praise.

Maritime programs teach self-reliance and techniques to overcome barriers that are thrown in the way by others. Freedom from self-imposed limits allows us to reach a higher ground. The alternative to self-reliance is team inspiration where all members are equal and the team has authority to make decisions. Three motivated people, united in a common goal, debating pros and cons, sharing knowledge, will learn extremely fast. The inspired team will have the power to overcome mountainous barriers regardless of their education background. Peer influence is a powerful educational tool.
