Exploring and discovery awakens our inner self, creating a desire to learn more about the world around us, setting in motion a vision. A vision is the source of all motivation.

Self-Discovery Program

A Tall Ship Theme Park that offers at-risk youth development programs, tourist attractions and industrial leadership training.

bullet

Students will have opportunity to discover their natural talent and develop it.

bullet

A Tall Ship Theme Park would be attractive to the tourist industry. Visitor interest would be an inspiration to students. This would help finance the school.

bullet

Combining 21st century work environment techniques with 21st century education methods would be attractive to educators, business leaders and sponsors.

Georgetown, South Carolina is an ideal location for a Tall Ship Theme Park. It is a blue-collar town next to Myrtle Beach - The mid-Atlantic states playground that is visited by millions of people every year. More information

This project is in the development and promotional stage while searching for primary sponsor. This website is extremely popular. During 2004-5, motivation-tools.com averaged  25,000 visitors per month.

Teenagers are Learning Machines

Every teenager has a burning desire to learn and be an achiever, BUT, not everyone can learn in competitive classroom environments. In a non-competitive learning environment, anyone can excel.

All teenagers, including those who are in conflict with classroom environments, have a strong desire to learn and be an achiever. Many cannot achieve this goal where their natural talents are out of harmony with the system. These students need to be exposed to compatible influences, if not, they will be wooed by negative influences, such as, street gangs, drugs and crime.

On the positive side, many high school dropouts discover their natural talent, develop it and live productive lives. They, like college students, have a burning desire to excel.

There is also a high percentage that simply gives up. The Self-discovery Program can offer opportunity that will inspire these teenagers, by using the same education methods of dropouts who found success.

Just because a student gets "Fs" in every class does not mean they don't want to learn or excel, THEY DO! EVERY TEENAGER DOES! They need to be in a non-competitive learning environment with topics that relate to their interest and natural talent.

There are two directions in education:

  1. Education that qualifies students for a job.
  2. Education that gives students the tools to be an achiever.

Teaching to standardized test does not inspire anyone to be an achiever.

Inspiration is a Motivator

bulletTall Ship Theme Park would inspire teenagers to seek a professional skills in the blue-collar world.
bulletInspiration and interest that motivates is achieved through the discovery of natural talent.
bulletThe discovery of natural talent is achieved with Project Based Education.

About At-Risk Youth

The typical education system teaches 30% of our youth to be failures. These same people could learn to be achievers in a different learning environment.
