These photos are of the Elderhostel Space Camp program in Huntsville, Alabama, sponsored by Auburn University of Alabama, October 27 - November 1, 2002. For four days, 10 hours a day, we experienced training with hardware that is similar to that used by astronauts. In the shuttle we simulated takeoff, docking with a space station and a return landing. Some of the crew were in the shuttle simulator while others were in mission control simulator.
